The Roots – “Feel It (You Got It)” Feat. Tish Hyman

The Roots have returned with a brand new single titled “Feel It (You Got It)” featuring Tish Hyman. It’s been quite some time since fans received new music from the iconic hip hop crew— made up of founders Questlove and Black Thought, but that’s not to say that the band hasn’t been putting in work. In between holding down Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show as house band, to shooting and producing several documentaries, The Roots have been slowly cooking up the official follow-up to their 2014 album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, tentatively titled End Game. “Feel It” is the first piece of music the full crew has has dropped since  2017, and  fear not, the band has not lost a step at all. As is expected, The Roots drop an array of soulful live instrumentation over hard hitting drums from Quest,  delivering the perfect back drop for Black Thought to flex his pen game, proving once again  why he’s one of the best emcees to ever pick up a mic.  A triumphant return to say the least, listen to it below.
