From introspective records laced with thought provoking bars to turn up records guaranteed to spice up your quarantine playlist, Jerelle has left no stone unturned in condensing a years worth of experiences into one banger of an EP.
On records like “Noticing” listeners find Jerelle opening up as he vents poetically on issues such as the loss of loved ones, personal struggles and the obstacles all artists face throughout their creative endeavours. On the flip side, tracks such as “Halfwits” and “My Energy” are energetic cuts built around infectious melodies and hooks, and are sure to get listeners on their feet for a little diddy bop. Jerelle’s ability to combine both style an substance throughout the albums duration is a shining example to his versatility in his artistry as he bridges the gap between traditional emccing and contemporary Hip Hop stylings.
To send this EP over the top, The Lock Down Pack has a start studded line up of collaborators, including featured verses from N.R.M.N and Carousello as well as top notch production from Shans beats, Santo x Nicknamez, Felix, Bijan Amir and Produced by Mickey.
