London emcee/ radio host, Sum-01, shares a new set of visuals to “Your Love” the latest offering from her EP, The Come Back Queen. Liking up with producer royceBIRTH for the instrumental and fellow CHRW Radio Western colleague AB Quality for the black and white visual treatment, “Your Love” is an ode to hip hop in its truest form. Flowing over a chopped up 1976 Soul Dog classic sample “Can’t Stop Loving You,” Sum 01 drops some serious bars placing emphasis on self empowerment, personal growth and all around positive vibes.
It’s been roughly 2 years since Sum 01 made her come back to the hip hop game, and has made big waves in the scene upon her return. From sharing the stage with hip hop royalty such as Ice Cube, Method Man, Redman and Maestro Fresh Wes at London’s Parkjam Festival, to the release of two EP’s with new music on the way, Sum -01 has been grinding tirelessly to spread her uplifting blend of hip hop music. The Come Back Queen EP includes 5 brand new tracks produced by Juno-nominated producer Royce Birth, plus the DJ Res remix of “Back In Tha Day” as an added bonus track. The EP includes features from Fortunato, Ngajuana and El Da Sensei (Artifacts). As of November 2019 the EP has charted for 27 consecutive weeks on the Earshot music charts, appearing on 77 charts.
