Seth Dyer – “Cool Kids”

For the last decade, Toronto has been at the forefront in innovation within the hip hop industry. The city has become a hub for artists, producers and engineers to connect and network together, creating the iconic “Toronto Sound” which has become the most sought after and emulated style in the genre. Throughout the years we  have witnessed the success of numerous Canadian bred superstars, resulting in all eyes locked onto the Toronto scene to see who will emerge as the next artist to carry the torch for Canadian hip hop. Toronto product Seth Dyer, has become one of the rising talents coming up through the ranks of the Canadian circuit and has proven release after release that he is up for the challenge.

Dyer is a seasoned emcee, writer and producer with a consistent track record of creating hits in the studio.  At this stage in his career, Dyer has already broken one million streams and counting.  The summer season has already seen an onslaught of drops from Dyer, steadily building him an ever growing fanbase. To highlight a few releases, Seth orchestrated a weekly drop of new music culminating  in an 8 track project titled Dyer Days Season two. Dyer then followed up the success of Dyer Days with the visual release of “Need Em.”As Seth continues to move closer to completing the release of his latest album, he shares a new single for his fans titled, “Cool Kids.”

This record from Seth is a Glow Up anthem for creatives out there who never really fit in with the it crowd, but had the wherewithal and perseverance to create something out of nothing. “Cool Kids” finds Seth reminiscing on the struggles of his come up and in contrast, pays tribute to the accolades he’s achieved by sticking to his vision. “Cool Kids” features proaction from beatsmith ZepFire, mixing by Dyer himself and mastering by Mike Smith.
