Hermetic Order – “Siren Song”

Chicago artist Hermetic Order connects with hip hop royalty for his thought provoking album, Siren Song. The Hermetic Order was an organization devoted to the study of the occult, metaphysics, and paranormal activities during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. When you take in the Siren Song project, it’s clear to see that the Chicago emcee is heavily inspired by ancient scriptures, and above all else is a truth seeker. Throughout the album, Hermetic Order utilizes his gift of emceeing to tackles a wide range of topics spanning from politics, social injustice and of course, conspiracy theories. Hip Hop’s origins began as a voice for the voiceless and disenfranchised. The emcees main objective was to uplift and inspire those in need,  and it’s reassuring to know artists  such as Hermetic Order continue to carry the torch for the new school of hip hop. Siren Song  features some of the most elite emcees to ever pick up a mic, including Nas, Gza, Raekwon and Killah Priest.
