Gearing up for the release of his second studio album, The Aaron LP, West Coast artist SonReal shares a new set of visuals to, “1000 Highways.” The Dane Collison directed short is a very personal release for SonReal as he shares the most important day of his life with his fans. The video follows The BC native and his partner as they make their way on a cross country road trip. The couple touch road across long stretches of highway, documenting their journey as they stop in at thrift shops, hole in the wall diners and other tourist attractions. The focuses of “1000 Highways” is the real life love story between SonReal and his partner, and at the three minuet mark SonReal lives out every artists’ dream as he captures his actual proposal to his wife, immortalizing the moment forever. The remainder of the video follows the newlyweds ceremony and reception; it’s hard not to smile while watching the home video.
SonReal lives his life like an open book, it only makes sense that Aaron would share this special moment with his fans.
