It’s finally happening, Vince Staples is getting his own TV show. The Long Beach emcee is teaming up with Adult Swim, to voice the title character of the upcoming animated series Lazor Wulf. In addition to voice work, Vince is also an executive producer for the show, and has casted DRAM as well as WWE wrestler Ettore “Big E” Ewen to complete the cast.
We love Vince on the mic, but fans are equally drawn the the emcees eccentric personality. I’ve spent hours in a Vince Staples youtube wormhole watching interview after interview. When you listen to what Vince has to say, it’s clear to see that his mind is working a mile a minuet. The emcee isn’t concerned with being politically correct, he has no hesitation to roast any public figure who deserves it, and above all else the dude is just hilarious. The trailer for the series doesn’t give fans much of an idea on what to expect, other than the fact that it looks like a serious drug induce trip. Lazor Wulf debuts April 7th at midnight.
